Phoenix, the French band that produced It’s Never Been Like That, is back with a new opus (pun!), Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. The band’s fourth studio album has a much cleaner and smoother sound, with some shiny beats, but they have definitely retained their legendary energy.

Music should affect you somehow, move you and make you feel something – For Emma, Forever Ago is hauntingly beautiful, it is stripped down, raw, heartfelt and there’s no doubt in my mind this album will be talked about for years to come.
